But Liberal Democrat councillor Howard Sykes, opposed the suggestion, saying: "I think the public will be absolutely furious that Labour suggested this."Local Democracy Reporting ServiceOldham Lib Dem councillor Howard Sykes told the meeting he thought the public would be "absolutely furious that Labour suggested this""Don't get me wrong, I would love to go home and watch England.
